Rita Writes

Links for writers

I consider myself incredibly lucky to have found Pearl Luke in 1995 when I crafted four pages of a story that had rumbled around my brain for years.  One of her many services is to critique short pieces and give advice. I invited her services believing that whatever she said would determine if I would continue or not.  Because she gave substantive feedback and tweaked the piece with examples of how it could be better, I believed her when she encouraged me to keep writing.  Over the years, I have consulted with her as my writing has grown and she is always spot on and extremely clear on what I can do to be a better writer.

Pearl offers seminars and classes and features new authors on her short story offering.  Madame Zee, her second book has achieved several awards and is a good read.  Check her out.
